Cyprus to Host the 2026 European Seniors’ Championships at Eléa Golf Club

Cyprus to Host the 2026 European Seniors’ Championships at Eléa Golf Club Nicosia, Cyprus – The Cyprus Golf Federation (CGF) and Eléa Golf Club are proud to announce that Cyprus has been selected by the European Golf Association (EGA) Championship Committee to host the 2026 European Seniors’ Championships (Ladies and Men).

The prestigious event will take place at Eléa Golf Club, Paphos, from June 11-13, 2026, with practice rounds scheduled for June 9-10, 2026. This selection reaffirms Cyprus’ growing reputation as a premier golf destination and highlights the commitment of both CGF and Eléa Golf Club to supporting high-leve championship events.

Dr. Demetris Papapetrou, President of the Cyprus Golf Federation, expressed his enthusiasm:

“We are honoured that Cyprus has been chosen to host the 2026 European Seniors’ Championships. This event will bring together elite senior golfers from across Europe further showcasing our island’s exceptional golfing facilities and our dedication to growing the sport. We look forward to welcoming players, officials, and guests to Eléa Golf Club for what promises to be a remarkable championship.”

Mr. Andre Friedrich, General Manager of Eléa Golf Club, added:
